Commercial Investigation’s Philanthropy Committee expanded our charity work by organizing two volunteer opportunities for our staff outside of office hours.

This year, our team took a trip in May to Crossgates Mall in Albany to gaze at the colossal structures built for this year’s CANstruction in support of the Food Pantries for the Capital District.

Leading up to the trip, CI staff donated cans of food that our team then used to vote for their favorite structure.

Our second trip took place the following month on June 9th when our team met at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) in Menands.

Our team first got a tour of the shelter and were able to visit with some furry friends. Afterward, we helped the folks at MHHS make enrichment for the pups, such as lick mats and slow feeders, helped clean and sanitize, and learned how to train the dogs with the use of clickers and treats.

For those at CI who weren’t able to make it, they were able to donate items off of the humane society’s wish list such as food, toys, and cleaning supplies!
