Verify and Trust Applicant’s Assets

An Asset search, also known as an Asset check, is meant to discover any potential asset owned by a particular applicant. An asset search is a powerful tool used to uncover a candidate's financial landscape, providing valuable insights into their financial stability, responsibility, and integrity.

The search is performed using public and private databases, the latter only available to organizations with a Private Investigative License, like CI. Asset checks can be done on individual or business entities. Our asset search helps you understand a candidate's debt level, investment holdings, and overall financial health, enabling you to mitigate potential risks associated with financially vulnerable candidates.

Asset searches on individuals can find currently owned property / deeds, mortgage information, motor vehicle and boat ownership, judgments, businesses using DBA’s (doing business as), and more. Utilizing an asset check can help you gauge the trustworthiness of your applicants by confirming they have declared all assets owned, and does not have any outstanding liens that could result in a judgment.

Free asset checks are advertised as thorough and compliant, but they are not. Using a free service will not obtain all available information on an applicant, since that provider simply does not have access to all the data.

CI recommends using a trusted source with a verifiable Private Investigative license to perform your organizations’ asset searches. Trust us to uncover the hidden financial landscape of your candidates and equip your business with the right talent for success.
