CI NY has been proven to be more effective than running county court criminal record inquiries in New York. This is so because CI NY contains levels of misdemeanor information, which is not usually found in New York County Court Criminal record inquiries. CI NY contains local, town and city criminal data not found at the county level. It also contains Federal criminal data.

At Commercial Investigations, we hear and see many interesting things from the subjects of our background investigations. Sometimes we pause and think, “Wait…what did I just read?” It is not every day you get to know the reason be-hind someone’s convictions, or his or her explanation as to why such crimes were committed.

As happy as Prue was to have this new client liaison position at COPS, she was also nervous about what this “mission” from Phil would entail. After taking a few moments to review the incident that took place at the Fancy Valley and the Four Seasons holiday party, Prue had a plan.

In this new update to international searches and verifications, our clients and subjects will now have the ability to select locations and input addresses outside of the United States! We are happy to present this new feature as we get numerous international requests. Well in New York, I’m following pending legislation and changing compliance rules. One way I do this is through research, and tracking of the current legislation. I capture the legislation and nuances, then track the progress of it. It’s one of my daily tasks as Compliance Analyst. I also sit on a NAPBS (National Association of Professional Background Screeners) committee and serve as the Albany Metro Captain for NAPBS Government Relations.

Unknown skills shone through in competitions of ladder ball and corn hole. While some contenders had a difficult time finding the appropriate arc, others racked up points with ease. Golf balls and bean bags flew through the air. Some fell short, while others fell long, but the more we played, the better we got and soon the scores were adding up.

After the events of the holiday party, Phillip Thropé, the CEO of the Corporation of Philanthropic Services (COPS), had to let Rob Berry go. “I don’t care who your father is!” He exclaimed as he sent Rob packing. “I will not let my reputation and my company’s reputation be sullied by childish behavior!”

Commercial Investigations LLC is eagerly anticipating another full year of giving back to our community. We began 2019 with Bowl for Kids’ Sake on March 10 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. Between our group of bowlers and behind-the-scenes supporters, we aimed to raise donations that provide children facing adversity with supportive, mentoring relationships. Camaraderie and purpose combine to create a cohesive spirit in the office.

The difference is that the National Sex Offender Registry only contains results that are high level, not all sex offender records. There are states like New York and Massachusetts that only have certain level sex offender information available on their online public record search.

Commercial Investigations LLC turned 15 years old on March 8, 2019 and we certainly celebrated all the great accomplishments we have achieved over the years. We hosted a fabulous party that was put together by our dedicated social committee, who spent many months planning this event for us all to eat, drink, and be merry – oh, and of course sing, and dance!

It was Nancy, and she was back with a vengeance! Duey shouted, “What are you doing?” The room went silent and shocked expressions covered everyone’s face.
